LARRY ECHERER:
Founder and President, Larry started out "in the trenches" so to speak, using the tools of the trade. He began with residential painting in New York, painting several hundred homes each year for a period of 5 years.  Larry then went with Meehan Decorating in Manhattan, where they put finishes on such commercial offices as "Vogue" and "Mademoiselle." And then they finished high fashion department establishments such as Lord & Taylor, Forbes & Wallace, McAlpins, Caster Knott, etc.

Larry came to S. C., established his own company, and remains in charge of the day-to-day operation of the business. Larry has been very active in the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America, or P.D.C.A. -- both locally and on the national level, for over 25 years, and he continues to be very involved in that organization. Twice he has received "Member of the Year" award from the NC/SC Council of PDCA --- in 1991 and in January of 1998. He has served on the National Board of Directors, representing the Carolinas' Council.

Larry has been very instrumental in the establishment of the N.C./S.C. Scholarship Foundation (PDCA) and received the honor of having it named "The Larry Echerer Scholarship Foundation."

He has always been an enthusiastic supporter of the civic/charity projects that the PDCA has annually. Larry has been very active in other civic and community projects for quite some time. He has been involved as a mentor in the adopt-a-friend program at the H. E. Corley elementary school, and received the outstanding business award from the S. C. "Friends of the Library." He is also active in the local Optimist Club, serving as President and also Secretary/Treasurer. Larry has been President of the Columbia Chapter of A.S.A. (American Subcontractors Association) since  2000.

A member of one of Columbia's largest general contracting firms stated:"Larry Echerer has brought integrity, fairness and technical knowledge to the subcontracting industry. Even other contractors sometimes call on Larry for his opinion, and he is ever ready with a friendly word of encouragement or advice." Everyone who knows Larry understands this to be true.

BRENDA ECHERER:
Larry's wife has been in charge of the office for 19 years, doing payroll and maintaining computer records on all of the projects. As Office Manager, Brenda successfully handles the many duties required to keep the office running smoothly.

LARRY ECHERER, JR.:
Graduated from Francis Marion in 1992 and is the newest member of our team. Larry, Jr. comes with many new and younger ideas.. That, mixed with the knowledge of the "elders" creates a combination for success.  Larry, Jr. is handling most of the estimating and also serves as project manager on many of the projects.

DOLLY KEISLER:
Has been Secretary and Administrative Assistant with the Echerers for 11 of her 48 years in the construction industry. Does the billing, reviews contracts and administers the various insurance programs for the company.

FIELD PERSONNEL:
Who are courteous, helpful, and the most knowledgable available service Echerer's clients.
