ECHERER PAINTING COMPANY IS CERTIFIED Larry Echerer, Jr. and Echerer Painting Company were recently certified by the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA.

To be certified, the company had to demonstrate that we are meeting the highest standards in the way we manage our business, safety issues, and financial matters. We also had to show that our trade skills are first rate. The final requirement was a comprehensive two-hour exam that asked in-depth questions in areas such as accounting, business practices, safety and trade skills. THE P.D.C.A. LOGO IS A SIGN OF QUALITY

The certification program was developed by a committee of PDCA members who believed in the need for a designation for professional contractors so they could distinguish themselves from other competitors that do not adhere to the same standards.

"These contractors represent the finest level of professionalism and quality this industry has to offer," said National PDCA Past-President Charles F. Mann IV. "We hope customers will look for this designation like they look for other professional designations."

The Painting and Decorating Contractors of America is a full-service national trade association representing 3,000 companies engaged in all sectors of the coatings application industry.
